What is Etiquette
Etiquette is a code of behavior that delineates expectations for social behavior according to contemporary conventional norms within a society, social class, or group. The French word étiquette, literally signifying a tag or label first appeared in English around 1750.
Etiquette is an inner quality - you show you care about yourself by understanding the importance of manners. It does not cost anything to be pleasant. A simple 'Thank You', 'You're Welcome', 'I'm Sorry' or 'Excuse Me' are the words which represent the code of conduct. Writing a thank you note or giving someone a remembrance are simple & thoughtful ways that provide inner serenity and confidence as a human being.
